Built in Bali, ready for Indonesia...

Our technology is proudly designed and build right here in Bali. In July 2025, we opened our new factory in Denpasar to expand our production capacity, improve quality control, and accelerate delivery times. This marks a major milestone for Shiva Industries as we scale our impact across Indonesia and beyond.

Across Bali and Java, we work hand-in-hand with farmers growing everything from rice and papaya to nightshade crops — and the results speak for themselves. Healthier soil, stronger plants, and higher yields are becoming the norm. In Singaraja, papaya farmers have even given our digestate a nickname: “magic dirt.” For us, it’s proof that when science meets the land, amazing things can grow.

About our Founder

Tobias Wilson is the founder of Shiva Industries Indonesia, dedicated to transforming the island’s organic waste crisis into sustainable opportunities. After growing up on a farm in Bendigo, Victoria, he spent nearly two decades in Singapore working in advertising, marketing, and digital technology.

Yet, something was missing: purpose.

Tobias then shifted focus to sustainability, developing Shiva to convert food waste into nutrient-rich fertiliser within 24 hours.

Why waste matters - and what we can do about it

Tobias Wilson shares the unexpected journey that led him from tech to trash — and why food waste is one of Southeast Asia’s biggest overlooked problems.
Hear how a few beach cleanups turned into a mission to build smarter systems for organic waste, and how businesses can play a role in driving real, measurable change.
